Kick-off of the race season with the Spi Ouest France

For more than 30 years, Spi Ouest France launches the regatta season on the Easter weekend with the gathering of nearly 500 boats in La Trinité-sur-Mer in Brittany, France. From April 2nd to 6th, 3,000 sailors divided in more than 15 boat classes will compete in the centre of the Bay of Quiberon, renowned fort its exceptional sailing conditions. Spi Ouest France, which will celebrate its 37th edition, still generates the same enthusiasm for thousands of sailors coming from all over the country and beyond like in he early years.

5 Marinepool crews in brand new Diam24 Class

This competition is the kick off for the upcoming race season. It will be the first opportunity for the Diam 24 catamarans - the new class raced in the Tour de France à la Voile - to compete against each other. Among the contenders, 5 boats will sail under the Marinepool flag : the two boats of Spindrift racing stable, Spindrift Black and Spindrift White ; Fondation Fdj - Des Pieds et Des Mains skippered by Damien Seguin ; Vinci Autoroutes skippered by Jean-Baptiste Gellée, and last but not least, West Courtage, a project led by the French Naval Academy.
