WELMAX WIN CLASS 1 ASPEN SPEED RUN
UDDEVALLA (Sweden): Marinepool partners out in front: Welmax duo, Jorn Tandberg and Kolbjorn Selmer, followed up their impressive showing in practice to win the Class 1 Aspen Speed run over the flying kilometre - setting identical times on both their runs.
Fazza set the benchmark of 15.84 seconds, only to see their time eclipsed four-times - the best, Welmax, 13.81secs - to put the current Championship leaders at the bottom of the pack.
The second run saw Welmax match their first run to seal the win, with Relekta's Christian Zaborowski and Paul Gaiser's stunning first flying kilometre good enough to secure second fastest - making it a Norwegian one-two - to finish ahead of Fazza who improved on their final run to leapfrog into third place.
