ISAF Sailing World Cup Palma : The French Sailing Team has been in great shape this week-end !  

3 gold medals / 3 silver medals / 2 bronze medals

The fourth and penultimate regatta of the ISAF Sailing World Cup was held in Palma from 29 March to 5 April. The French Sailing Team has shown a great performance, winning 8 medals in 6 olympic series. They have proven once again they are among the best sailing athletes.

The French Team manager was very satisfied at the end of the competition :  « I am fulfilled today ! 8 medals in 6 series, this is an outstanding result. We have experienced all types of wind and sailing conditions in Palma. The organization received a record number of entries this year and all the great nations were represented. I am very satisfied as the French Sailing Team achieved a great performance at this major competition. This is a good omen for the upcoming World Championship in Santander. The selection committee will gather next week to decide who will go to Rio for the test-event and the World Championship", explains Guillaume Chiellino.

Billy Besson and Marie Riou, winner in Nacra 17 and supported by Marinepool :
« Everything went very well during this week, we were very concentrated. We had to face difficult and varying conditions but we succeeded in maintaining a leading position leg after leg. We are now looking ahead to the Sailing World Cup Hyères on April 19th."

Marinepool is the official supplier of 3 national teams : the French Sailing Team, Sailing Team Germany and Sailing Team Austria which also achieved great results reaching the top 10 of the competition.
