The Normandy Sailing Week, first competition of the French Crew Offshore Racing Championship

The Normandy Sailing Week will be held from 4 to 10 June in Le Havre. 75 crews divided into 9 different boat classes are already registered to compete this seventh edition. Among them, a large fleet of IRC boats, longtze and the famous J80 and M34. For the latter, the competition will have a special flavor as it is the first race of the French Crew Offshore Racing  Championship.

An offshore race of 235 miles and inshore races in the Channel and in the Bay of Seine will give to the M34 crews the opportunity to compete in the same racing set-up as the Tour de France à la Voile, the main competition of the M34 circuit. The Racing Team Marinepool will  obviously be part of the event, including Courrier Dunkerque skippered by Daniel Souben, Nantes St Nazaire skippered by Corentin Douguet, the Omani of BAE System with Cedric Pouligny, the German of Iskareen skippered by Sönke Bruhns, and finally the French Sailing Federation´s teams BRED la Normandie and Côtes d´Armor Bretagne.
