Start of the Transat Québec Saint-Malo on July 10th and 12th

26 competitors will be on the start line of the Transat Québec Saint-Malo, a unique non-stop and west-to-east transatlantic crew race that takes place every 4 years. A 2897 nautical miles journey will lead the fleet along the Saint-Laurent river before heading to Saint-Malo on the other side of the Atlantic.

3 Marinepool crews will race in two boat classes : Class 40 and Ultimate

No doubt that this 9th edition will offer a spectacular and thrilling competition as renowned offshore sailors will participate in the race : Thibaut Vauchel-Camus - winner of the Transat Bakerly in the Class 40 category - and Victorien Errussard onboard Solidaires en Peloton, the trimarans Musandam-Oman Sail and Spindrift 2 in the Ultimate category. The two giants of the sea will set sail 2 days after the rest of the fleet as the transatlantic should be an express crossing in their attempt to break the race record of 7 days and 20 hours, hold by Loick Peyron in 1996 on Fujicolor II.
