The Maktoum Trophy is arguably the most well known and most important Regatta in the Persian Gulf off Dubai. Named after the Ruler of Dubai, the regatta is highly prestigous.

This year for the first time the Dubai RC 44 Cup is racing within the Maktoum Trophy and guarantee spectacular fleet racing and nail-biters in the match racing part of the event. The 44 foot long carbon racers are sailed by some of the best sailors in the world and the events in the RC44 see a line up of superstars otherwise only seen in the America´s Cup.
