The International German Championship of the 49er class will take part at the Herrschinger Segel Club, Ammersee, beginning September 30th - October 3rd. At the same time younger skiff sailors will fight for the titel of the International Youth Champion in the 29er class. For the first time there will also be a competition to find the best german team in the 29er xx. The HSC expects teams from various nations. Two of the Marinepool racing teams will start in the 49er – Schadewaldt/Baumann and Plößl/Heil. Both teams have realistic chances to win the title. Depending on wind and weather, however, they will present some exciting races. For specators this event will be one of a special kind. Taking place at the HSC, located at the eastern side of Ammersee, you can be up close and personal when the top teams perform on the water. The HSC will organize some spectacular side program as well, to guarantee the sailors and their company some fun.
